Academic Programs at Redwood School Manila
Nurturing, Inclusive, and Developmentally Appropriate Learning from Ages 2 to Early Elementary
Redwood School Manila, pulls from the strong practices of the Vygotskian approach emphasizing that social interaction, culture, and language are crucial for cognitive development. We believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential given the appropriate amount of challenge and the right tools. Our academic programs follows a progressive, learner-centered, and inclusive approach that honors each child’s pace, interests, and developmental readiness.
We provide a strong academic foundation in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Filipino/Makabansa, and Language—while also nurturing curiosity, independence, creativity, social-emotional growth, and real-life readiness. We emphasize love of country and care for the environment evident in small practices done daily.
Redwood is recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and offers Preschool to Grade School. Our grade school is currently under a partner homeschool provider with options for:
• Subject-based academic support or
